The identification process of the bodies of the 13 fallen servicemen transferred by Azerbaijan to Armenia has started, and the respective examinations are currently underway. Armenian health minister Anahit Avanesyan told reporters about this on Wednesday.

"We will have final results in the coming days, the cycle of previous examinations has long been over, the bodies have been buried," added the minister.

According to Avanesyan, the respective general examinations are carried out, completed, and the results transferred to the investigative agencies within a week.

Azerbaijan on Monday handed over to the Armenian side the bodies of 13 more Armenian soldiers who had died during the defense of the sovereign territory of Armenia on September 13 and 14.
